Common questions
Is Umrah Badal permissible in Islam?
Yes. Umrah Badal is permitted by the majority of scholars across the Hanafi, Shafi’i, and Hanbali schools, based on the hadith of the woman from Khath’am in Bukhari and Muslim, in which the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ permitted proxy performance on behalf of an elderly parent who could not travel. Read the full ruling here.
How do I know you will actually perform it?
You receive a video of the proxy performing the Umrah with your loved one's name spoken at the niyyah, plus photos from inside Masjid al-Haram. If we cannot complete the Umrah within 7 days, you get 100% of your payment back.
Can it be done for a parent who is still alive?
Yes, when the parent is permanently unable to travel due to age, chronic illness, or disability. The classical scholars unanimously permitted proxy Umrah for living relatives who cannot perform the rites themselves.
How long does it take from booking to completion?
3 to 7 days. Most bookings are completed within 5 days. We schedule around prayer times and crowd levels in Masjid al-Haram to ensure the rites are performed properly, not rushed.
What information do you need?
The beneficiary's full name, their relationship to you, and the reason for arranging (deceased, elderly, or chronic illness). That is all we ask. No documents required.
Can I cancel after booking?
Yes, until the Umrah is performed. Once our scholar has entered ihram on your behalf, the booking cannot be refunded because the rites are underway. Read the full refund policy.
